Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She was awarded the best actress award for her performances in Nashville The 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. In addition, she had the role of the title character in the film Jem and the Holograms, (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her parents Wendy and Ashley. There is also an older sister named Ally. Aubrey was a performer with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for this class in 2012 after she was a graduate. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent for her admission a second time because of her Nashville role. Peeples was a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of the made-for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She had a major part in the role of Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama series in its second season. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples one of the most gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014.
